Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Receives a Rs. 5,000 Price Cut in India, it’s Now Priced at Rs. 31,900.

Earlier this year, Samsung announced the Galaxy C9 Pro in India for Rs. 36,900. Given the whopping price tag, everyone expected the device to feature high-end hardware, but after all, it’s Samsung, and you have to invest an excess of Rs. 50,000 to get a smartphone with top of the line specs.

The Galaxy C9 Pro is the South Korean giant’ solution for people who are in search of a OnePlus 3T alternative. And, Samsung has now slashed the price of the Galaxy C9 Pro in India which now retails for Rs. 31,900. The phone can be purchased via Amazon India. Samsung did not make any official price cut announcement, but the phone is listed without any discount on Amazon India which makes us firmly believe that the price cut is permanent and not temporary.

Even after the price drop, the Galaxy C9 Pro is still an overpriced product as it packs mid-range hardware. The two major highlights of the Galaxy C9 Pro are that the device packs a massive 6GB of RAM, and a 16MP front-facing camera. Rest of the specs are mediocre.

The smartphone comes with a 6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, further resulting in a pixel density of 367 PPI. It has a Super AMOLED panel and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass technology.

At the heart of the phone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chip which is clocked at 1.95GHz. The chipset is accompanied by Adreno 510 GPU for graphics, 6GB of RAM for system operations, and 64GB of internal storage space for hoarding your files. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

The C9 Pro has all the connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS. There’s a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, HDR mode, and dual-tone LED flash. Up front, the C9 Pro boasts a 16MP front-facing camera. The device has a massive 4000mAh battery and comes with the uni-metal body design.

Also, the Galaxy C9 Pro is an upgrade to the last year’s Galaxy A9 Pro which has similar specifications, minus the 6GB of RAM and all-metal body. Furthermore, the A9 Pro is selling for Rs. 29,900 and it has a bigger 5000mAh battery.
